REVIEW: Dr.Ci: Labo Labo Super-Keana Lotion

I am here to review a product from an unfamiliar Japanese brand called Dr.Ci Labo. I looked it up online and for those who are not familiar with Dr.Ci Labo, it is a Japanese skincare brand that specialises in assisting people with their skin concerns using naturally derived ingredients. It is said that this brand created “all-in-one” products and is considered to be Japan’s no. 1 doctors cosmetic brand.

Today I will be reviewing their Super-Keana Lotion. The name of this product is actually misleading as this isn’t actually a lotion as it is actually a toner. I was very confused at first but the lady who assisted me at the store reassured me that this is actually toner and not lotion.

I find the orange packaging very beautiful. I really like the bright, vibrant colour and the shiny effect of the box.

The product comes in a 100ml bottle.

Unfortunately everything on the packaging is written in Japanese so I have no idea of the ingredients list. The lack of English has always been my main issue with Japanese products as I can ever find any Japanese makeup or skincare products with English on it.

This product claims to remove dark circles, tighten pores, and also removes blackheads.

This product is very watery much like every other toners I have tried. It really does feel moisturising on the skin which surprised me a lot. Because of this, I really like it. However, my only concern with this is the scent. It smells like mint flavoured gum and I am really not a fan.

Pros:

  • Beautiful packaging
  • Moisturising

Cons:

  • Unattractive scent
  • No English on packaging
