REVIEW: THEFACESHOP MasCream Sheet Masks

I am back again to do a review on face masks from THEFACESHOP yet again. I currently have many things to review at the moment and I always prefer to review products separately so that I am able to go more in depth without creating such a long post.

So for today, I am reviewing THEFACESHOP’s MasCream sheet mask which comes in 4 different formulas that aim to hydrate, brighten, tighten, and revitalise the skin. So far, I have only tried the hydration and moisture masks.

Price: $5 each

Moisture Hydration

“First mask sheet with cream that feels like applying a whole jar of cream. The dense microfiber rich in cream adheres closely to the skin, providing soothing comfort. Delivers rich moisture to dry and flaky skin with a cream containing hyaluronic acid and elderflower.”

Out of the two, I tried this mask first and despite the name of the mask, I was very surprised by how creamy the sheet mask actually was. This mask is super moisturising and works very well at assisting those with dry or dull skin. This also had a nice milky, shea butter type of scent.

Ingredients: Water/Eau, Propanediol, PEG/PPG-17/6 Copolymer,  Penthenol, Betaine, Butylene Glycol, PEG-40 Hydrogenated castor oil, Acrylates/C10-30 alkyl acryltae crosspolumer, Glycerin, Potassium hydroxide.Dipotassium glycrrhizate, Allantoin, Sambucus nigra flower water, Caprylhydroxamic acid, Ethylhexylglycerin, Disodium EDTA, 1,2-hexanddiol, Phaseolus radiatus seed extract, Sodium hyaluronate, Phenoxyeethanol, Beta-glucan, Citric acid, Potassium sorbate, Sodium benzoate, Betula platyphylla japonica bark extract, Rumex crispus root extract,  Parfum/Fragrance

Brightening

“The dense microfiber rich in cream adheres closely to the skin, providing soothing comfort. Improves dull complexion with a brightening cream containing black pearl and argan oil”

I must say, I did not enjoy using this sheet mask as much as the previous one. I found this sheet mask to be just as hydrating and creamy as the previous one, however, this mask had a more unappealing scent which I was not a fan of.

Not to say that this mask is bad, I’m just very sensitive to scents and I am quite picky when it comes to fragrances.

Ingredients: Water/Eau, Propenidiol, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, PEG/PPG-17/6 Copolymer, Niacinamide, Cyclopentasiloxane, Panthenol, Tri-C14-15 Alkyl Citrate, C14-22 Alcohols, Glycerin, Betaine, Caprylic/Capric Glycerides, Hydrogenated Lecithin. This sheet mask is VERY creamy as the name suggests. It does an amazing job at moisturising and soothing dull and dry skin. This mask also fits well on my face which is always a plus for me as most masks I have tried are quite large for me.

So overall, I really liked using this mask due to the abundance of cream. It made my skin feel very soft and smooth and I would definitely consider repurchasing this.

Pros:

  • Very moisturising
  • Nice scent
  • Perfect for those who have dry skin

Cons:

  • Pricey

Overall rating: 4/5
