REVIEW: Tony Moly Master Lab Sheet Masks

This would be my first time using sheet masks for about 2 months now and I am SO happy. I stopped using face masks for a short period of time because I was trying to hold on back on my spending towards skincare products. However, I just could not resist.

I purchased these in a pack of 10 for $20 at a Korean beauty store called AHA. I had never actually seen or heard of these prior. The packaging and title just intrigued me. This was also recommended by the lady who served me at the store.

These sheet masks belong to Tony Moly’s Master Lab collection, consisting of five different types which aim to moisturise, hydrate, brighten, and repair skin damage.

This mask is said to transform dull and tired skin into healthier-looking, moisturised skin in as little as 20 minutes.

I really love the packaging on these. I don’t know why, but I’m always drawn to sheet masks with a medical type of aesthetic.

Intensive Moisturising – Ceramide Moisture Care

You will see down below that a lot of these sheet masks cater towards dry skin much like this one. However, this one in particular is for dry skin with flaky cracks. This claims to deliver rich moisture deep inside the skin using ceramide.

Intensive Moisturising – Collagen Elasticity

I feel like this Master Lab mask would work well for those with older skin as this caters to help sagging skin due to the lack of elasticity. This sheet masks claims to make the skin more elastic and firm with collagen.

This leaves the skin with a highly absorbing and moisturising finish.

Intensive Hydrating – Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating

If your skin type is rough due to dryness, this would be the best one to use as this Master Lab mask in particular really helps to assist those problem areas by boosting the skins radiance.

Intensive Brightening – Vitamin C Brightening

I was surprised at how thin these sheet masks are. They feel very delicate to the touch and because of these, there was more essence soaking into the masks themselves which I really, really liked.

This stick beautifully on my face and there is no hassle during application which I occasionally experience with other sheet masks. But because of how small my face is, I still need to do a bit of folding on the sides but that doesn’t bother me because I need to do that with every single sheet mask I’ve used anyway.

Tony Moly’s Master Lab sheet masks work very well and live up to their claims. This leaves my skin feeling very healthy and moisturised and I pretty much have no complaints with these.

Pros:

  • Very thin mask
  • A lot of essence soaked into the mask
  • Inexpensive

Cons:

  • I have no complaints

Overall rating:Β 4.5/5
