REVIEW: Innisfree It’s Real Squeeze Mask – Rice

I have used a few masks from Innisfree before however, I never had the chance to review them. This was given to me by my brother but you can purchase this at any Korean cosmetics store in Sydney for $1.80 AUD which is very affordable considering majority of the sheet masks range from $3 to $9.

So let’s just jump straight into the review!

Innisfree It’s Real Squeeze Mask – Rice

This mask is part of Innisfree’s It’s Real Squeeze line which consists of 10 different type of masks. The line contains Aloe, Acai Berry, Rose, Tea Tree, Cucumber, Manuka Honey, Green Tea, Pomegranate, Rice, and Shea Butter. All of these have different purposes, catering towards whatever your skin needs.

I have tried a few of these before (before I started reviewing) however, for now I only have the rice mask. The rice mask is made to give your skin a dewy finish so I would not recommend this to those with oily skin.

Innisfree It’s Real Squeeze Mask – Rice

This is what Innisfree has to say about the line:

“It’s real squeeze mask – A top 10 best seller that provides a customised solution suited to various skin concerns with freshly squeezed natural ingredients”

I use this after cleansing and applying toner. I leave it on for about 15 mins and gently pat the remaining serum into my skin.

Innisfree It’s Real Squeeze Mask – Rice (Ingredients list)

This mask feels like thick and paper-like. I’m not a fan of the thickness of the mask because I feel like it does not stick to my face as well as I would like it to. The serum inside is quite milky and moisturising. Although I would have liked a little more serum. I’m one of those who likes to dump thick layers of skincare on my face. However, it is moisturising and left my skin feeling soft and smooth. There is little to no scent which is good for those who are sensitive to scents, like me.

This mask isn’t outstanding but it does the job and it is also affordable. This is nice mask to use for those who are looking for something affordable but is also a quality product.

Pros:

  • Affordable
  • Moisturising

Cons:

  • Mask does not adhere to skin very well

Overall rating: 3.5/5

REVIEW: Innisfree Eco Safety No Sebum Sunblock

Recently, I’ve decided to start taking better care of my skin and made a better effort to wear sunblock everyday. My brother gave me a bottle of sunscreen by Innisfree, it is called the Eco Safety No Sebum Sunblock and i’ll be doing a review on it today.

Description: A mild, smooth sunblock with ECOCERT organic sunflower oil to keep skin healthy.

I like the smooth packaging, it feels nice to the hands. I like that it comes in a squeeze bottle, it makes it easier to get all the product out.

The texture of this product is quite thick, much like other sunscreens. Unfortunately, it does have that typical sunscreen smell. The first time i tried this, I was very generous with the amount of product I applied on my face and I was unaware of the whitening effect it has. It leaves quite a strong white cast on the skin, so it’s best to apply a small amount. However, it really does do a good job controlling the oil on the skin. I really like using this underneath my makeup. Not only does this protect my skin but it prevents me from looking shiny after a couple of hours.

Pros:

  • Controls oil very well
  • Smooth packaging

Cons:

  • Strong white cast
  • Typical sunscreen smell
  • Very thick texture
