REVIEW: Nature Republic White Vita Floral mask sheet

Hello everyone, I am back again with another review. I don’t have much to say in this introduction so let’s just get straight into the review.

This post will be short and brief as this is more of a first impression rather than a full review on the product itself.

White Vita Floral Mask Sheet

This was one of the free sheet masks my mum received in Korea while shopping in Nature Republic. Because she doesn’t use face masks, she gave this to me.

Brief background: Nature Republic is a South Korean skincare and cosmetic brand. They provide affordable products that also primarily consist of natural ingredients. They are also very famous for their aloe vera products.

Description: As it states on the front, this mask focuses on brightening and moisturising the skin. This will be perfect for those with dry/combination skin.

Packaging: Right off the bat, I find the packaging attractive. I have always loved Nature Republic’s sheet mask packaging, particularly their use of fruit and vegetable images.

Ingredients List

How to Use: As usual, apply this after cleanser and toner and leave on for 10-20 minutes. After removal, massage excess essence into skin.

First impression: I was not surprised to find this mask to be VERY creamy. I have combination skin, leaning towards dry so I actually prefer creamy masks. Some may find them a little too heavy on the skin. After using for 15 minutes, I massaged the remaining essence into my skin and it just left my skin feeling so soft and smooth. It takes a little work to fully massage the whole thing because of how thick the cream is. However, I like how smooth and soft my skin is after using this mask.

Final thoughts: Would I repurchase? Definitely. It adheres well to the skin and lives up to its claims. If you have oily skin, I highly suggest opting for another sheet mask.

REVIEW: Nature Republic Real Squeeze Aloe Vera Emulsion

Back again with another review! Today I will be focusing on Nature Republic‘s Real Squeeze Aloe Vera emulsion. This emulsion actually belonged to my brother and I borrowed it a for a while just to try it and also for review purposes.

I don’t know how much this product is so I apologise for that.

This emulsion is said to give an instant cooling effect. It is also supposed to moisturise, soothe and improve skin elasticity.

The product comes in a standard pump bottle with Nature Republic’s traditional green packaging. I like that it’s transparent so that I can see how much product is left inside.

Ingredients list

“An emulsion featuring with Aloe Vera from California hydrates and moisturises skin.”

The consistency of this product is very runny much like every other emulsion that I’ve tried. I wish this emulsion was a little more moisturising as I feel that it is only moderately moisturising. However, this product smells incredible. I absolutely love the scent, it’s very fresh and light and I can’t stop sniffing it. Overall, this product isn’t amazing but it does the job.

Pros:

  • Smells incredible
  • Transparent packaging

Cons:

  • Not moisturising enough

REVIEW: Nature Republic Soothing & Moisture Aloe Vera 92% Soothing Gel

Hi everybody!

Today i’m reviewing one of Nature Republic’s best selling products. It is the Soothing & Moisture Aloe Vera 92% Soothing GelThis product gets a ridiculous amount of praise from other beauty junkies and I purchased this out of curiosity for AUD$9.00.

img_0790

“This soothing gel, which contains California CCOF-certified organic Aloe Vera, is mild to the skin and can be used to moisturise the face, arms, legs, and hair. This soothing gel contains 92% Aloe Vera extract, which moisturises the skin quickly without leaving a sticky feeling behind.”

How to use: As the last step of the basic skincare routine in the morning and nighttime, apply an appropriate amount on the face.

The product comes in a generous 300ml tub. The packaging is pretty bulky, which isn’t very travel friendly. However, I am a fan of the green colour, it feels very fresh and pure.

Apparently there are actually eight different ways you can use this product:

  1. Moisturising cream or mask pack
  2. Base makeup
  3. After shave cream
  4. Hair treatment
  5. Relax swollen eyes
  6. Nail essence
  7. Body care
  8. Mask pack for relaxing sunburns

The soothing gel feels very lightweight and cool to the skin. I find that this works very nicely when applied after shaving. The cooling effect feels amazing on the skin, which makes this quite handy when accidentally burning your skin. Although this does feel quite nice on the body, it’s not as moisturising as I hoped. After a few minutes, I find that this dries pretty quickly, leaving my skin feeling in need of more product. I like that Nature Republic was very generous with the amount they put inside the tub, so this will last quite a while for someone like me. The fact that this product has multiple functions is a plus for me.

Pros:

  • Generous amount of product
  • Nice cooling effect
  • Light consistency

Cons:

  • Not moisturising enough
  • Bulky/heavy packaging

REVIEW: Nature Republic Fresh Green Tea 70 Emulsion

Early this year, I took a trip to South Korea which was pretty much makeup heaven for me. Streets were filled with cosmetic store after cosmetic stores. During that trip, I had purchased quite alot of products and one of them is the product I will be reviewing today. It is the Fresh Green Tea 70 Emulsion by Nature Republic. For those who are not familiar with Nature Republic, it is a South Korean cosmetic brand that utilises natural ingredients for their products. It is a very affordable cosmetic brand and I was able to purchase this product for only W4000!

Description: Fresh Green Tea 70 Emulsion uses fresh green tea leaves that can soothe, moisturise and most importantly, maintain skin health by healing impurities, slow down ageing signs, as well as acting as an antioxidant that can reduce puffiness and dark circles.

How to use: After applying toner, spread adequately over the face.

Ingredients: camellia sinensis leaf water, glycerin, cetyl ethylhexanoate, butylene glycol, glyceryl sterate, cetearyl alcohol, ethyl hexanediol, macadmie integrifolia seed oil, sea water, portulaca oleracea extract, glycine soja (soybean oil), glycyrrhiza glabra (licorice), root extract, centella asiatica extract, chamomila recutita (matricaria) flower extract, bis-digycleryl, polyaclyadipate-2, dimethicone, pentylene glycol, polysorbate 60, peg-100 stearate, sorbitan stearate, stearic acid, caprylyl glycol, arginine, sodium acrylate, sodium acryloyldmethyl, taurate copolymer, isohexadecane, polysorbate 80, water, sodium hyaluronate, carbomer, disodium edta, phenoxyethanol, fragrance (parfum).

The product comes in a regular 180mL plastic bottle that feels really sturdy, it almost feels like glass. The packaging itself is a little plain but I feel that it fits with its name.

I feel that this emulsion, for its price, does a pretty good job. I have been using this product for months and this emulsion is very moisturising. I love the way it feels on my skin and it doesn’t leave that sticky feeling that other products do. It spreads really well and feels a little milky at first, however it does absorb quickly. I also really like the scent of this. It smells super fresh. Although, this isn’t a product that is groundbreaking but overall, I really like this product by Nature Republic and i do recommend this for those who are looking for something affordable.

Pros:

  • Affordable
  • Moisturising
  • Fresh scent
  • Light texture

Cons:

  • Not easily accessible for certain people.
